Transport, housing, health hottest public issues

Transport, housing and health were the issues that provoked most comment when Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On solicited public opinion during his campaign for re-election this year, the Policy Research Office says.

The government office says Mr Chui received from the public 111,827 comments on 18 topics.

Many of the comments on transport berated the taxi service.

Many of the comments on housing demanded that the government guarantee people a home, and many of those on health demanded better medical care.
