Govt takes back four more idle plots of land

The government has taken back four more plots of land that the land holders failed to use for their intended purposes, the Official Gazette says.

The government repossessed two plots held by Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau SARL and meant for housing.

They are 3,911 square metres on Taipa and 968 square metres on Penha Hill.

The other plots are 19,245 square metres of artificial wetland off Taipa, held by Companhia de Investimentos Chee Lee Lda and meant for residential and commercial use, and 2,637 square metres in the Pac On reclamation area held by Chap Mei Artigos de Porcelana e de Aço Inoxidável e Outros Metais (Macau) Lda and meant for industrial use.
