Try doing other casino jobs, croupiers told

Some casinos have suggested that their croupiers do other sorts of work, Business Daily reports, citing a trade unionist.

The newspaper quotes Forefront of Macau Gaming deputy director Lei Kuok Keong as saying SJM Holdings Ltd, Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd and Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd are suggesting that croupiers do other jobs in their casinos.

Mr Lei said the suggestions were part of a drive to cut costs as gaming slumps, and that croupiers were worried that that they would be paid less.
