Roosevelt Hotel Macau to do without gaming

The Roosevelt Hotel Macau on Taipa will have no gaming facilities, according to a spokesman for the developers, Arron Iu.

“We’re planning to invest mainly in food and beverage, with a good mix of Western and Chinese restaurants,” Mr Iu said.

“We believe this is the best strategy. So we’re not considering gambling.”

The five-star Roosevelt Hotel Macau is being built near the Macau Jockey Club and will have about 330 rooms. It is due to be completed in the first half of next year.
