Govt keeps throwing cash at small businesses in H1

The government gave or guaranteed over MOP140.7 million (about US$17.6 million) worth of loans to small or and medium enterprises in the first half of this year, official data indicate.

Macau Economic Services figures show the government lent SMEs MOP103.1 million for various purposes.

The government guaranteed bank loans to SMEs to the value of MOP37.6 million.
