Premium mass market the focus of newest casinos

Of the 150 new gaming tables in the second phase of Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd’s Galaxy Macau casino-resort, which opens today, about 40 are for the VIP rooms and the remaining 110 tables are for the mass market of which the majority are to be allocated to premium mass, according to a note from Credit Suisse AG.

Another Galaxy Entertainment development that opens today, Broadway Macau, will have 38 mass-market tables, 10 of them for the premium mass market, Business Daily learnt from senior director of business development of Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd John Au yesterday.
