Airport passengers increase to 480,000 in April

Macau International Airport’s throughput increased to over 480,000 passengers last month, 6 per cent more than a year earlier, the airport operator says.

The airport handled over 4,500 takeoffs and landings, 6.5 per cent more.

The operator says more passengers going to or from southeast Asia or northeast Asia made up for fewer going to or from mainland China.
