Clothes exporters mainly gloomy about Q1 sales

The most recent survey by Macau Economic Services found 83 per cent of Macau’s exporters of clothes expected substantially lower sales abroad in the first quarter of this year.

The survey found 13 per cent expected sales to be steady and 1.8 per cent expected a slight increase.

The value of exports of clothes was MOP180 million in the fourth quarter of last year, official data show.
