Average price of housing rises 9.2 pct in October

The average price per square metre of residential space rose by 9.2 percent in October to MOP106,341 (US$13,313) per square metre, the Financial Services Bureau says.

The bureau’s data show the number of homes sold fell to 421, or 40 fewer than the month before. Buyers bought 344 homes on the peninsula, 63 on Taipa and 14 on Coloane.
