UNION GAMING GLOOMY ABOUT Q4 CASINO MARKET

Union Gaming Research Macau is steadfast in its belief that an improvement in the city’s gaming market is unlikely in the fourth quarter of this year.

The research house says so in the light of official data showing casino gross gaming revenue last month fell to MOP25.6 billion (US$3.2 billion), 11.7 percent less than a year earlier.

But Union Gaming says in a note that it feels that Macau’s gaming market could rebound in the first quarter of next year.
