Govt invites applications for four 4G licences

The government is inviting applications to run fourth-generation wireless telecommunications services.

The Bureau of Telecommunications Regulation says telecommunications companies have until November 18 to apply for four licences.

Successful applicants must start their 4G services next year.

The licences will last for eight years, after which they may be renewed for another eight years.
