GOVT ALLOWS WORK ON PARISIAN MACAO TO RESUME

The government has given gaming company Sands China Ltd permission to carry on building its US$2.7 billion (MOP21.6 billion) Parisian Macao casino-resort in Cotai, the company says.

Sands China says it has a permit to resume this week work on the podium structure, which was halted for a while.

It says it may need further permits as construction proceeds.
