August 1-17 table revenue estimate MOP15.9 bln

Sterne Agee estimates that table-only gross gaming revenue in Macau’s casinos was MOP15.9 billion (US2 billion) in the first 17 days of this month.

The stockbroker says the run-rate, including slot machine revenue assumptions, was  MOP30.3 billion, 1.5 percent less than in the equivalent period last year.

Sterne Agee now forecasts that gaming revenue this month will be somewhere between 3 percent less and 2 percent more than a year ago.
