More capacity for Macau-Manila air services agreed

The Macau and Philippine authorities have agreed to increase the capacity of scheduled flights between Macau and Manila to 7,020 seats a week from 4,500 with immediate effect, our sister publication Business Daily reports.

The newspaper quotes an official as saying the agreement provides for the limit to be raised to 10,000 seats without the need for further negotiation, once all the new capacity is taken up.

At present Philippines Airlines, Cebu Pacific Airways and AirAsia Zest together have 15 flights a week serving the Macau-Manila route.
