Nomura Securities has reduced its forecast of the annual rate of gaming revenue growth in Macau this month from 17 percent to 14 percent.
But the stockbroker says it sees no threat to the earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of the main casino operators.
Wells Fargo Securities has increased its gaming revenue growth estimate for this month to between 13 percent and 15 percent from between 10 percent and 14 percent.
The stockbroker thinks this year could be “choppy” for gaming in Macau because VIP gaming business may slow as credit growth slows and the economy shows less vigour in the mainland.
