Macau employers had 145,692 migrant workers on their books last month, 1,940 more than the month before.

Official data show that over 92,000 were mainlanders.

The biggest employer of migrant workers was the hospitality industry. Over 30 percent of the city’s migrant labour worked in hospitality last month.
