Govt to recommend 30 Hengqin projects next week

The government will reveal on Monday which proposals by Macau investors for projects on Hengqin Island it will recommend to the authorities there.

Secretary for the Economy and Finance Francis Tam Pak Yuen says the government will recommend 30 proposals for projects in a wide variety of industries.

In November the government received 89 proposals by companies or individuals interested in investing in the 4.5 square kilometres of Hengqin reserved for Macau investors.
