Macau Campus Joint Recruitment Event 2014 Press Release

The University of Macau Alumni Association, University of Macau Postgraduate Association and leading Macau online job site and top recruitment firm hello-jobs.com and MSS Recruitment have joined forces to present an annual event – Macau Campus Joint Recruitment Event 2014 or graduating students. The event aims to help graduating student’s access up-to-date information on Macau’s job market so they can find the best possible jobs to pursue their chosen career paths and at the same time to create an effective platform for connecting local employers and job seekers.

We have invited students unions from the University of Macau, Macao Polytechnic Institute, Institute for Tourism Studies, Macau University of Science and Technology, University of Saint Joseph Macau Institute of Management, City University of Macau and overseas Macau student associations to be co-organizers of the event.

The Macau Campus Joint Recruitment Event 2014 will comprise an online recruitment fair and Macau Graduate Career Guide 2014. We believe these can serve to create a mutually beneficial relationship between corporate management and graduating students. In addition, graduating students will find the latest information on Macau jobs and the local market at the Fair.

Macau Graduate Career Guide 2014 invited more than 65 companies offering over 350 job vacancies to graduating students. It will be delivered to every graduating student through the above universities’ student unions. This year we will cooperate with student unions, have roadshows on universities’ to share local job market information and tips.

The online e-version will be distributed to overseas Macau student associations as well, includes Macao Youth League of Renmin University of China, Association of Macao College Student in Shanghai, Association of Macao College Student in Fujian, Beijing (College) Macau Student Association, Association of Macao College Student in Guangdong,  Association of Macau College Student in Taiwan,  National Taiwan University Hong Kong and Macau Student Association,  The Federation of Joint-Universities Macau Students in Hong Kong, Macau Student Association, Australia,  University of British Columbia Hong Kong Students’ Association, The University of Toronto Hong Kong Students Association, University of Calgary Hong Kong Students’ Association. Graduating students can find information on jobs, interview tips and news about industry trends in this publication.

Running concurrently with the event, we have also developed an online recruitment fair (http://hello-jobs.com/Campus2014), a job site to be fully supported by seven co-organizers. By registering for free as a member, students can upload their CVs and apply for jobs online. Students can access this 24-hour online platform anywhere, and can reach all local industries to pursue their careers.
