February gaming revenue tipped to rise 20 pct

Casino operator Sands China Ltd’s chief executive, Edward Tracy, expects Macau’s gross gaming revenue to be over 20 percent higher this month than a year before, Bloomberg reports.

The news agency quotes Mr Tracy as saying in an interview he expects annual growth in the city’s gaming revenue to be in the “mid-teens” this year.

He declined to forecast the growth in his own company’s gaming revenue this month.

He said Sands China’s revenue last month had grown by over 10 percent.

Macau’s gaming revenue last month grew by 7 percent.
