New Year brings fewer visitors to Macau this year

Macau had 114,250 visitors on New Year’s Day, 1.89 percent fewer than a year earlier, police data indicate.

The data show that over 367,000 people, including Macau residents, entered or left the city during the New Year holiday.

Gongbei was the busiest point of entry, 138,428 people having entered the city through the Border Gate.
