Macau edges up Greater China competitiveness table

Macau is the 12th most competitive city among over 34 big cities in Greater China this year, the latest China City Competitiveness Report says.

The annual report says Macau has moved up one place in the table from last year, our sister publication Business Daily reports.

The report says Macau is the fourth most international Chinese city after Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.

The Hong Kong-based China Institute of City Competitiveness compiled the report after looking at aspects of each city’s competitiveness such as its development prospects, its economy, its environment, and the quality of its assets.
