Govt to review civil service recruitment this year

The government will this year make a comprehensive review of the civil service and the way it recruits civil servants, Secretary of Administration and Justice Sonia Chan Hoi Fan has said.

Ms Chan said on TDM radio that the chief executive’s policy of “streamlining” administration meant building a high-quality team of public servants that could respond to the demands of Macau people.

She said the government would simplify the process of recruiting of civil servants and train them better.
